Why not prepare a Project Life Album ready to document December 2016 with all the activities, memories and traditions that you and your family make this year. Planning ahead means you can spend December concentrating on photographs and journaling and enjoying the festive season with your loved ones.

Stampin Up! have everything you need to prepare ahead; they have even produced a video with page by page suggestions as to how this can be done - there is even an example of a completed album showing  photographs, embellishments and journaling.

Just click the ink here

Here is a link to a flyer you can print to show how the album pages were assembled.

Swirly Bird cards

I have been AWOL from blogger for too long. I don't know why as I have been crafting lots recently. I will start with yesterday's cards.

I love how versatile this bundle is. The two different colour ways and the two different designs look completely different  in style but nonetheless I like them all.
The card above uses the Dapper Denim and Daffodil Delight colour way - I need to use more blue in my card making. Although floral it is not too 'girlie'.

Peekaboo Peach and Flirtyy Flamingo - two of this years in-colours take centre stage on this card.

How lovely is this yacht card? The watercolour background in Soft Sky and Pacific Point has worked really well. A ten minute card that I know will be a favourite with the girls at work.

Sneak Peek of the 2016-2017 Annual Catalogue

The perk of being a demonstrator, even for a hobbiest like myself is I get to see and purchase items from the new catalogue before they go on sale internationally.
Here is me opening my pre order items on Friday

The ribbons are lush and so easy to work with

Aren't those new in- colours just lovely? I like them all and they are even better in real life!

Look out for the projects I have been making with some of these products.

Busy organising!

It has been a while since I blogged but I have been working behind the scenes to organise my Stampin Up! Products. Tonight I have added sticky labels to my sponge daubers/ sponges and their storage boxes.
It has been a very rewarding and therapeutic activity

A very productive day!

It has been a while since I have been so productive in my card making but yesterday was my birthday and I spent the day crafting with my friend. Admittedly I had done lots of preparation the night before - cut the card blanks and designer series paper for the fronts, cut out and embossed lots of butterflies as well as other die cut embellishments.

All that work done meant I could get on and in the end I made 34 cards. Here are some of them

Gorgeous, gorgeous grunge!

Love this card my friend made today using the ever popular Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. The combination of Island Indigo and Crumb Cake lend for a masculine feel.

Using up scraps of DSP

I don't know about you but I love Designer Series Paper. I buy it because the patterns are so lush but then don't want to use them and before I know it they are about to be retired. I have come up with a simple card front that uses small pieces of DSP in a really easy way. Simply cut strips measuring 14x3 centimetres and assemble. This process works for male and female inspired cards. Here are a few I've made so far. Come back to see how I finish them assured that will be quick and easy too!

Scrapbook page

Those of you who know me well will be surprised to read I have actually got the scrapbooking bug again. It has been quite a while since I did any scrapbooking so set myself the challenge of kick starting my mojo this holiday using Stampin up! Products only. So here is my latest attempt ( minus photo).

I began with a Whisper White 12x12 piece of card stock. I used the grid and the dot stamps from the Timeless Texture stamp set in black ink; plus a tiny flower from the Number of Years stamp set. I cut small pieces of Birthday Bouquet designer series paper and layered the different designs; topped of with Blushing Bride glitter card stock flowers and Mint Macron leaves cut from the Botanical Builder Framelits.

50th Birthday

My friend is 50 next week and ssh... Her husband is throwing a surprise tea party. As I made this card on Valentine's Day I used the Love Blossoms designer series paper stack to cut out two different sized circles; stamped the background with Timeless Textures stamp set. I cut the numerals out of Blushing Bride Glitter card and added some extra sparkle with the matching sequin trim. Voila! A pretty but simple birthday card. Hope she likes it!

Wedding Acceptance

My husband has been invited to a work colleague's wedding and needed an acceptance card. As it Valentine's Day I used the Love Blossoms 6x6 designer series paper stack papers on a stamped background using the amazing Timeless Textures stamp set and added a bit of sparkle with the Blushing Bride Glitter Card and sequin trim. Simple but romantic!

Happy Valentine's Day

Hope you are being spoiled by your loved one. My hubby bought me a beautiful silver necklace with three hearts that say "I love you". So sweet!

Here is the card I made for him

It's a shaker card full of white, silver pink and red hearts cut out with the heart border punch.

The main heart was cut out using heart frame lit dies

The love expression was cut using the expressions thinlit dies

I made my own envelope using the envelope maker

I filled it with more heart confetti!
