Cute by the inch!

A quick card for a friend using the level 2 hostess set 'Cute by the inch'. I like the fact that the stamped images are placed in a linear formation but felt it looked a little flat so I stamped some different images from the set and lifted them up on dimensionals.

The 2nd, 4th and 9th squares are raised up although it is not evident in the photograph but I am still not happy with the end result. In real life the squares are straight - honest!

Pocket Silhouettes!

I LOVE making boxes to put matching cards in. This one uses the cardstock which comes in the Designer Series Patterned Paper and is held closed with a cardboard band. The paper is from the Brights pack. The stamp set used is Pocket Silhouettes; another set I have grown to love and will use many times I am sure. Tell me what you think.

Stamp set storage

I have been looking for some storage for my stamps. I wanted something cheap, transportable as well as aesthetically pleasing! Well I think I found it today at Morrisons supermarket. Graded baskets, with hand holds to ease the taking to workshops and crops. They even stack. What do you think?

Again the photographs are rubbish due to the poor light but at £7.50 for three baskets I think my storage solution is fantastic. They can be laid on their base or one one end, upright to store on a shelf in my scraproom.

More OSW cards from the summer

The cards above were made using the Vintage Vogue stamp set with Rich Razzleberry cardstock.

These OSW were made with Circle Circus stamp set and the Flight of the Butterfly stamp set, in whisper white, real red and basic black.

Look what I got through the post today!

Sorry the photographs are rubbish, but I wanted to show you the surprise I got in the post today. A Bronze 2 Promotion from Stampin up! A certificate and a bronze lapel pin with bling.

How exciting!!! Thank you to my wonderful customers - you know who you are!

Just Believe!

I have grown to love this stamp set. It is not my usual style of stamp but after a class by Joanne Friend I love it! Here is my take on the card I made at the class. Hope you like it!

The white flowers have been embossed, whilst the front foliage has been raised using the brilliant dimensionals. The back ground papers are from the Designer Series Paper Pattern Pack - Melon Mambo and Old Olive respectively from the Brights Collection. The ribbon is Whisper White grosgrain ribbon.

Greenhouse garden - one sheet wonder

I have found a set of OSW cards I made in the summer. Some friends came over and we did a 'workshop' using Stampin Up Greenhouse Garden stamp set. Here are the results.

Here are my friends busy making their set of cards.

Sale-A-Bration is one of the most exciting times in the Stampin' Up!® year. Why? Because you can get FREE STAMPS!

Sale-A-Bration runs from 30th December to 28th February, 2011 and there are several ways you can get your hands on exclusive free stamp sets. Four special sets have been designed just for Sale-A-Bration. You can't buy them, you can only earn them for free and only during the promotion period.

What else do you need to know? Well, one of the most exciting things you’ll discover in the SAB brochure is that there’s a stamp set called Punch Bunch which is made up of stamps which co-ordinate with our punches... and one of them is an OWL!!!! We don’t have an owl punch... yet... but read the small print in the brochure and you’ll see that we’re getting on in our Mini Catalogue on 1st April. I can’t wait as I’ve been wanting this punch for ages! If you think you’re going to be getting the owl punch when it’s released, be sure to put Punch Bunch at the top of your SAB list because, at the end of February, the stamp set will be gone forever!
You also need to know that all SAB sets are available in wood or unmounted.
